At A1, you learned basic introductions. At A2, you need to introduce yourself with more detail, natural flow, and connected sentences. This is what the Goethe A2 exam expects — not a list, but a short spoken paragraph.

A2 Introduction Structure

Start with name and origin (1-2 sentences)

Add age and living situation (1 sentence)

Mention family or relationship status (1 sentence)

State your job or studies (1-2 sentences)

End with hobbies or interests (1-2 sentences)

Use connecting words: und, aber, deshalb, weil
